Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC


An important, long-lived wine with i garnet red colour and orange reflections. The aroma is very intense, fruity with regal notes of cherries, prunes and violets. The taste is fully harmonic and pleasantly tannin.

Soil: calcareous marl
Yield per hectare: 80q/ha
Altitude: 1100 ft asl (Monforte has the highest vineyards of the area)

Average age of vines: 30 years
Bottles: 8000 (0,75l) 200 (1,5l)



We only vinify grapes sourced from our vineyards.

Nebbiolo grapes destined to become our Nebbiolo d’Alba are vinified for a shorter period than those destined to become Barolo. This results in a wine that is fresher, less complex, but no less harmonious and elegant, with a beautiful balance of tannin and acidity.

Manual harvesting, destemming, soft pressing and skin maceration for 10 days under controlled temperature. Refined for 12 months in barriques and 6 months in bottle.
